The Crossing, Celtic band out of JPUSA in Chicago, and our old friend
Andy Young were on hand for this packed-out
St. Patrick's Day show.
The Crossing had a number of interesting, textured panels that they placed along the US wall, and they also hung a large, dimensinal Celtic symbol over the stage. I wanted to light these units with something interesting and Irish-looking, ended up using R23 and R49 crossing the texture unit with NSP pars, and using a doubled R389 in the front WFL wash. Other lighting choices were fairly normal for my designs in this venue - R61 toplight and R55 frontlight, all with 6" frensels. Click on the photos for larger images. | ||||
